Explore the interconnected social formations of gender, race, class, sexuality and nation
Examine the constitution of women’s lives in diverse social contexts
Learn about feminist theories and methodologies
Gain the skills needed for work in government and business fields or go on to obtain a professional or graduate degree. Graduates from the program have also pursued careers with nonprofits – directing organizations that address issues such as teen pregnancy and violence against women.

Participate in internship and service learning with a variety of local groups, such as Kore Press, Emerge!, Las Adelitas Arizona, and Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. You will also be provided with opportunities for activism.
